Ing. Mgr. Šárka Knížková

Nutritional Therapist

Proper nutrition is undeniably important for all of us. However, in assisted reproduction, it is doubly important because a woman’s body undergoes major changes for which she needs to be strong enough. In order for the mother-to-be to have enough vitamins, minerals and nutrients that will ideally equip her body for conception and subsequent pregnancy, it is necessary to think about the right balance of the diet. This can be helped by an erudite nutritionist, Šárka Knížková, who will be happy to create a tailor-made diet and patiently advise you on how to eat during this sensitive period. Šárka is synonymous with positive energy, intelligent humour and a fountain of knowledge in the field of nutritional therapy. If you are thinking about diversifying your menu and want to talk about what to have for a snack before your hormone stimulation, feel free to contact her to schedule your personal consultation.

About me:

I am a nutritional therapist from the 1st Medical Faculty of Charles University. Since I wasalways hungry for new knowledge, I decided to expand my education byEngineering in Nutrition and Food, which allowed me to enter the world of nutritionfrom a chemical and technological point of view.

During my studies, I started working in private practice and have now been focusing onon healthy and sustainable eating without extremes. I work individually withclients, but I also lecture for companies, sports clubs and the general public. Atmy Instagram @nutrie_in_behu I share content about sports nutrition and healthy relationshipsto food and I advocate that lunch goes to the stomach and dessert goes to the heart. Smy colleague and I also regularly release episodes of the @nutriceudvoupratel_podcast,in which we try to bring nutrition to our listeners in a fun and non-violent way.

I believe that a balanced diet is key to the reproductive health of both women and men. ToI approach each client individually and adjust eating habits tobased on their current diet so that nothing is missing and processes likePregnancy and pregnancy are ideally carried out without complications. In addition to the consultation orI also offer recipes and tips for specificfoods to eliminate the feeling that the client is lost and has to spend hoursin the kitchen or at the store. My goal is also to debunk the various myths thatoften circulated on the internet and social media regarding fertility.
